Canary yellow. Twenty-two karat gold. A shape that looks like rose petals caught mid-bloom. This is Hall Pottery at its most joyful.

The Moderne shape — pattern #0219 — is one of Hall's most beloved designs, and in Canary Yellow it is simply luminous. The organic, softly curved form has the quality of something found in nature rather than manufactured — each lobe suggesting a petal or a leaf, the whole piece balanced and graceful at any angle. The 22KT gold accents catch light beautifully, trimming the spout, handle, lid, and base with a warmth that elevates the yellow from cheerful to genuinely elegant.

Marked on the base in 22KT gold: Hall USA, #0219, 6 cup, Made in U.S.A. Six cup capacity. No internal tea filter. Hand wash recommended to preserve the gold and glaze.

One small chip on the inside of the lid — not visible when the lid is on. Gold shows the gentle wear of nearly ninety years of use and admiration. No crazing, cracks, or scratches on the body.

A wonderful gift for a Hall Pottery collector, a teapot collector, or anyone whose kitchen shelf deserves something genuinely beautiful on it.

Hall China Company was founded in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1903 and became one of America's most beloved and widely collected pottery manufacturers. Their teapots — introduced in 1920 — are now among the most sought-after pieces in American ceramic collecting. The Moderne shape was introduced in the 1930s during the Art Deco era, and its organic, sculptural quality made it an instant classic. Hall closed its East Liverpool facility in 2010, making authentic vintage pieces increasingly desirable.
