1/2 HP Deep Well Cast Iron Convertible Jet Pump with Switch. Cast iron convertible Jet pumps are located above ground, easy to install, and maintain for both shallow and deep well applications. Up to 1020 gallons per hour. Shallow well lifts of 25ft and deep well lifts to 110 ft. Single and double pipe applications. Single-phase 60 Hz motor-includes American made pressure switch. 1 Inlet and 3/4 discharge. Use galvanized steel or NSF PW Schedule 40 PVC pipe and fittings. Do Not Use: DWV fittings. Pump must be primed before first operated. Add several gallons of water as the suction line will be filled in addition to the pump cavity. High tensile gray iron pump bodies with large water cavities for fast easy priming. Separate priming ports enable quick water fill and the fast evacuation of air. Separate tapings provided for mounting of pressure/vacuum switch and pump draining. Buna-N quadraseal is reusable provides positive seal between pump case/motor bracket. All pipe and priming plugs are coated with a non-hardening, non-toxic, non-corrosive material allows easy removal even after the pump has been in service for years. Standard shaft seal with ceramic and silicon carbide face is self-adjusting throughout the seal life. Patented uni-frame motor bracket is unique to the water system industry and designed to accept any NEMA J motor if motor replacement is ever necessary. Automatic overload senses both start and run winding heat to ensure complete winding protection. Protect pump and piping from freezing. Suction lift is the vertical distance from the lowest level of the water to the pump intake.
